National Geographic knows outdoor beauty - and rightly named St. Augustine's Night of Lights amongst the top ten places to see holiday lights worldwide. 'Over two months of lights' would be a more appropriate but not-so-rhyming name, as the spectacle runs from mid- November to late January each year. As if this magical city needed extra gloss, you can't believe the fanciful transformation made from a few million Christmas lights strung across town.
Enterprising businesses offer ways and means of amplifying your experience - whether involving a trolley, a horse or some carols.
